Such a fascinating book. The way Charles Duhigg combined real life examples, scientific research and personal experience makes the content really stick!

The concept itself was new to me, I never thought of this before and I recommend everyone to go ahead and listen to this book.

5 Stars.

Habits are good but in order for them to stick in hard time, people need a better conviction – Faith!

Faith is usually better when is executed in groups

Key Stones Habits

If you dress a new something in old habits, it’s easier for the public to accept it

The power of weak ties

Peer pressure – powerful precautions tool

He to break out of the habit loop – Identify the routine, experiment with rewards, isolate the Q, have a plan

Experiment with changing the routine and write down the first 3 things that come to mind when. You finish the new routine (emotion, random thoughts, reflections on how you feeling or just the first 3 words that pop up to your head)

Then, set an alarm for 15 minutes and ask yourself “Do I still have the urge for that specific craving (eating a cookie for instance)

Studies have shown that almost all habitual Qs are triggered by 1 of these 5 options:

  • Location
  • Time
  • Emotional state
  • Other people
  • Immediately preceding action
