On the one hand, I’ve encountered for the first time in my journey with an Anti-Israel Christian doctrine, something I haven’t met before as I’ve seen nothing but love from the Christian community so far (the gentleman who shared with me his Church’s views lives in Whitefish MT, a town with a history of hate crimes against Jews and home to White Supremacist Richard Spencer who tried to form an armed Neo Nazi rally in its streets last year).
On the other hand, I met Dallas and Julienne, a lovely couple at who recently left Mormonism, were eager to learn more about Judaism and visit Israel (but of course they were too afraid to do so because they think it’s a war zone), and so I shared with them what Israel really is, as you can see in this video.
And somewhere in the middle, is the liberal Jewish community which unfortunately distance itself from anything that has to do with Israel and tries to keep it “low key”.
Israel is not perfect, it’s far from it. But this shouldn’t change the fact to any Jew in the world, whether he’ll be conservative/liberal, religious/secular, orthodox/reform or even Messianic, that it is Home!
Next stops would be Wyoming/Idaho/Utah and Colorado.
I have no idea what the future holds, but I’m looking forward to it
