A few weeks ago, Danielle and I visited Deer Park Monastery in Southern California for a One day meditation retreat.
There, one of the monks taught us a simple mantra to help gather all of our wandering thoughts and focus on the present moment.
We loved it!
Now, each time one of us gets mad, angry or even anxious about something, we start singing this mantra, we laugh a little and let that feeling go.
Yesterday, while walking the streets of Seattle and enjoying the beautiful weather, we started adding some movements to the mantra, and today we wanted to share it with you.
Everything in the world is energy, and our job as sentient beings is to make sure we are constantly elevating and rising our levels of energy so we feel at our best.
For us to reach high levels of energy, we must pay attention to the environment and people we enter into our lives, the food we put in our stomach, and even smaller things such as the words we speak, the music we listen to or the posture we hold our body in, all have a direct affect over our levels of energy (or to put it in other words, our mental and physical state).
My hopes is to have this mantra go viral and have this video reach millions of people all around the world, but even if I touched just one soul with this video, or helped just one human being to better deal with stress, anger or anxiety, I would feel like I’ve done my part 🙏
